The 21-year-old is one of three players – alongside Leicestershire’s Josh Hull and John Turner from Hampshire – to be awarded a development deal which recognises the country’s most exciting young talent. He’s among seven new faces, from a total of 29, to feature on the updated Central Contract list for England Men's international cricket. Gleeson – who’s played six times for England – was one of the Bears’ standout bowlers in the North Group last summer as he took nine wickets in six games.
