Another great "Changing Minds" Day hosted by Trussell at our UK Support Centre. A group of our colleagues learnt more about what Trussell do, how we as the Watches of Switzerland Group support them, and then took time to make up toiletry packages - people often don't think to donate toiletries as well as food, so these parcels will are much needed. A huge thank you to everybody involved in the organisation of the event and to those who volunteered their time 👏

Earlier this month we hosted an unforgettable evening for our Mappin & Webb. clients at the Tower of London, starting with an exclusive private tour of the Crown Jewels. As of today, our Foundation partner The Prince’s Trust will officially start a new chapter as The King's Trust here in the UK, but their core mission - to help young people develop the skills and confidence to thrive in work, education and training - remain the same. This change reflects their Royal Founding President’s continued dedication to enabling even more young people to create a better future for themselves.

Yesterday was World Homeless Day. Since 2021, Watches of Switzerland Group PLC Foundation has partnered with Crisis to provide essential support and resources to help people break free from homelessness. Thanks to the foundations donations we have been able to fund vital services like clinical psychology, intensive case management, and 1-on-1 support. Together, we've helped over 250 individuals find a path out of homelessness. Want to get involved? Last week our Carlton Park office welcomed some furry visitors from Leicestershire & Rutland Guide Dogs 🐕🦺 The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association are the world’s largest assistance dog organisation and the only one to breed and train guide dogs in the UK. They have a wide range of services with and without dogs to support people living with a vision impairment. The charity is close to the heart of our Cyber Security Analyst, James Holt whose family has been involved in breeding guide dogs for generations. James’ grandparents raised and trained over 100 guide dogs before passing the baton onto James’ parents. James’ brood was one of the dogs who came to visit Carlton Park, charming colleagues and enjoying all of the attention! Caring for our communities is a part of the way we operate at the WoSG - A huge thank you to all of our generous colleagues who came along to support with donations and purchases 🐾
