  • The Workplace Rebellion: A Manifesto We, the rebels of the workplace, stand united under a single cause: to reclaim the dignity, purpose, and wellbeing of every employee. This is our creed, our unwavering truth, and our declaration to the world. Rule #1: Employee wellbeing is not a perk - it’s the foundation of success. Success is not measured by productivity at the expense of our health. It is measured by the balance we create and sustain. True success starts when every employee is supported, valued, and empowered. Rule #2: Burnout is not a badge of honor. We reject the glorification of exhaustion. Long hours should never be mistaken for dedication. Our rebellion is against systems that push us to the brink - where rest is a revolution, and taking a break is our right, not our weakness. Rule #3: Flexibility is a non-negotiable. No one should have to choose between their personal life and their work. Flexibility in when, where, and how we work is the key to unlocking our best selves. Autonomy is the birthplace of creativity and innovation. Rule #4: Emotional and mental health matter as much as physical health. The mind and heart are just as important as the body. This rebellion stands for a culture that acknowledges the power of emotional and mental wellbeing - where support systems and access to resources are readily available for everyone. Rule #5: Compensation should reflect the value, not the grind. We reject compensation models that reward hours over value. Fair, equitable pay for everyone based on the value they bring, not the sacrifices they make, is the heart of our rebellion. Rule #6: Time is precious. Make it count. The rebellion believes in efficiency, not overwork. We are not defined by our time spent in a chair, but by the impact we create. We fight for time that is truly our own - time for passion, creativity, family, and rest. Rule #7: Leadership should empower, not control. Leadership is about service, not domination. We demand leaders who inspire, guide, and uplift, not those who micromanage and dictate. We follow those who trust us, and we lead with empathy and authenticity. Rule #8: Inclusion is the cornerstone of innovation. Diversity in thought, experience, and perspective is our greatest strength. The rebellion will not rest until every voice is heard, respected, and included, because only then can true innovation thrive. Rule #9: The workplace is a community, not a hierarchy. We stand for a collaborative, respectful, and open community. No one is more important than another; we are all integral parts of a whole. Together, we rise; together, we thrive. Rule #10: Rebellion is an ongoing fight. We will not rest until these values are the rule, not the exception. Our rebellion is a journey, not a destination. We stand firm in our commitment to creating a world where every employee can live and work with purpose, dignity, and wellbeing. Join us. This is not just a movement. It’s a revolution. #WorkplaceRebellion

🧭The Inclusion Journey guide - ❤️Tedx Speaker, Author, Entrepreneur - helping you to create diverse, inclusive teams ✨ Co-Creator @ Watch This Sp_ce ✨ NED ⭐ Trustee ⭐ Mentor 🧭

Since the beginning of Watch This Sp_ce we have always done bold things. 'Let's write a book' or 'can we win some awards?' or 'let's work with global companies'. And these things have actually happened. So we're going bold again! The CIPD Festival Of Work Conference at Excel London felt like it was out of our reach. We looked into and and decided to be bold and go for it. So we will be there on Stand L93, right near the EDI stage. And our book publisher Kogan Page Publishing on Stand I93 with our book. See you there? Alt text Mo, Allegra, Kaia smiling with CIPD Festival Of Work and Stand L93

  • We’ve worked with SO MANY organisations who say, “Oh, we have a very inclusive culture!” “That’s great!” we reply. “How do you know?” “Erm…” They look confused. “Well, our team are all very inclusive and kind.” “Ok… good…” We’re starting to get nervous now. “So what have you done to foster an inclusive culture?” “Well…” They hesitate. They look at each other uncomfortably. “We really believe in inclusion.” “That’s fantastic,” we tell them. “That’s definitely the first step. It has to come from the top, the leadership team set the tone. Now, what initiatives have you introduced? How are you measuring the impact?” “Yes…” They mumble. “We’re very inclusive here. We really believe in inclusion.” Come on, people, we can do better. This stuff doesn't happen by accident - you need a plan. In our membership community, we've just released a webinar talking you through how to set your objectives and put a plan together to enable you to reach them. Comment "plan" to get the link.

  • Could we be your “Professional Service of the Year” at this year’s City Girl Network Brighton Girl awards? 👀 We have made it to the Top 5!! And judging officially commences this week - we would love to take home this award, but we want to answer the question of…why us? 😉 Meet Amy Butterworth - an award-winning programme designer and accessibility consultant. She uses a Psychodynamic and Systemic Approach to Consulting to understand the dynamics of an organisation and curious exploration of challenging topics. 💫 We asked each of the team what they are looking forward to, proud of and letting go of, to LEVEL UP with WatchThisSp_ce ! 💫 Get ready to be inspired (cross your fingers and toes for us 🤞)!

  • How can you measure the Return on Investment of your workplace culture? Too often, we hear people say that culture, inclusion and staff wellbeing are intangible, fuzzy things that aren't relevant to "hard" metrics like revenue and productivity. ❌ Wrong! There are a number of very clear, tangible metrics that show the impact of your workplace culture, and how it's influencing your bottom line. Find out more on our blog. Or comment "ROI" and we'll send you our free guide to calculating the ROI of your workplace culture.
