Here's how you can improve your chances of being noticed by recruiters: 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱𝗜𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 : Use your ideal job title in your headline to make it easier for recruiters searching by keywords to find you. 𝗦𝗲𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻 : Specify up to 5 locations where you are willing to work to increase your visibility in location-based searches. 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 : Make sure your top skills are clearly listed throughout your profile, especially in your Headline, About, and Skills sections, as these keywords help recruiters find you.     Given how popular the hybrid model has been and continues to be with employees, I do wonder how long it takes to finalise these decisions and what it's actually based upon. I already know of many businesses back in the office 5 days a week so despite the uproar about Amazon's decision, this trend is becoming increasingly common. Is there significant impact on performance for businesses insisting on a 5 day work week in the office again? Some companies I've spoken to recently have set a 5 day office requirement in cases of underperformance, as they feel those employees need more exposure to training, while still offering flexibility for those who exceed expectations. Others are committed to the hybrid model regardless of performance metrics. Personally the hybrid model matters to me, and its doable in a role like recruitment. My team and I make it work, we communicate well when we WFH so it's not a concern, nor does it need changing. Ultimately, while we can discuss what's right or wrong, it's unlikely that larger companies like Amazon will change their stance, especially when managing diverse schedules across large teams can be challenging. If hybrid working is a top priority for you, it's important to carefully consider your next role and assess the flexibility it offers.
