In the recent judgment in Cherfan v HM's Senior Coroner for West London, Partner Andrew O'Keeffe and Associate Helena Fairley acted for the successful applicant in challenging a Coroner's decision. The case serves as a reminder that adopting a neutral approach will not guarantee protection on costs for a Coroner and emphasises the wide discretion of the Court.
