We are delighted to share that Dan Biggar, Welsh international rugby union player and fly-half for Toulon, has signed as our first Executive Coach and Leadership Ambassador. Dan brings with him a wealth of experience leading rugby teams at domestic and international level. His role will support a transformation in the way Circle approaches the development of it’s leaders, with Dan playing a pivotal role guiding, supporting and coaching leaders from hospital to board level. The new role, the first of its kind for Circle Health Group, will focus on developing leaders at every level of the organisation. Today marks the end of an era as we see Consultant Urologist, Mr. Andy Thomas, hold his final clinic at Werndale Hospital before heading into a well-deserved retirement. Andy has dedicated years to his field and has been a valued consultant at Werndale Hospital since 2008. Throughout his career, he has cared for thousands of patients and earned immense respect from both his peers and the teams he has worked with. Executive Director, Jacky Jones, wished Andy all the best in his retirement and thanked him for his incredible service to the community. This weeks topic was Care and Communication of the Deteriorating Patient.
