We recently loaded the stunning Botin 52 “Caro” in Botany Bay, Sydney, and she's now on her way to London Gateway Port. Caro will be taking part in the Admirals Cup in Cowes, under the RNZYS (Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron). We’re excited to be delivering her to Wight Shipyard Co in East Cowes on the Isle of Wight by the end of March/early April, getting her ready for the big event! She’s here! Orbit Clipper, the UK's first fully electric, zero-emission cross-river passenger ferry has officially arrived on the Thames. Built at Wight Shipyard Co in the Isle of Wight, the vessel’s ground-breaking design marks a significant step in sustainable travel and the future of London’s iconic river transport system, supported by IUK funding. Launching to pedestrians and cyclists in late Spring 2025, Orbit Clipper will operate between London’s Canary Wharf on the north side of the Thames and Rotherhithe on the south, offering the most efficient and eco-friendly service for cross-river transport. Until then, you may spot the River Bus undergoing sea trials ahead of the launch, so make sure to keep an eye out! We’re thrilled to welcome Orbit Clipper to the family. What a gorgeous day yesterday to go down to the Isle of Wight to visit Wight Shipyard Co! Mars Clipper is getting ready for her maiden journey and the fully electric zero emission cross River Ferry is rapidly taking shape. You can now clearly recognize the outline of the boat as construction progresses at full speed.
