Welcome to Women in Games, championing a fair, equal, and safe games environment for girls and women globally. As a UK-based non-profit, we collaborate with key partners, relying on donations, grants, and event, sponsors income. Our ambassador programs offer diverse opportunities. The Individual Ambassador Programme, powered by Keywords Studios, has 1,500+ members across 72 countries. The Corporate Ambassador Programme welcomes companies and the Education Ambassador Programme, engages universities and colleges. Corporate Ambassadors support impactful events like expos, the Women in Games Annual Conference, and the ground-breaking publication, "Building A Fair Playing Field."     PUSHING PLAY INTO PRINT Women in Games’ mission is to bring together agents of change, advocates, men and boys, champions, experts and grass-roots organisations for new dialogues focused on achieving fairness and equity 💪 Our recent 20th Anniversary Global Women in Games Conference Conference PLAY GROUNDED explored the phenomenon of Play and Play Spaces: How play is designed, developed and published, where play happens, and what play is and can be, through the Women in Games Lens. The event provided an arena for discussion of the functions of play across multiple strands: from concept to publication – the makers and the players – the pleasure [of playing] and the pain [of toxic spaces]. 📢 Here, Kah Hui Teo, Director of Women in Games Asia Chapter and Portfolio Director, Keywords Studios, spoke to Dr Songyee Yoon (Principle Venture Partners) about the values and ideas behind her new book ‘Push Play: Gaming for a Better World’. 📢 Many thanks again to all the wonderful speakers who contributed their valuable knowledge and expertise to this eye-opening anniversary conference 🎉 #WIGConf24 #womeningames #gamesindustry #gamedev
