WE'VE BEEN SHORTLISTED FOR A TIKTOK AWARD 🥳 A lovely way to end the week with the news that our work with our good friends at The Open University and OMD UK has been shortlisted at the TikTok Ad Awards for 'Greatest Branding'! “Tackling Inequality Head On”, our gameshow Smartest In Their Space was recomissioned for another year with Season 2 welcoming new faces and formats. Teams mixed with content creators and Open University students battle it out over a number of rounds to be crowned with the Smartest In Their Space Trophy. It's an honour to have been shortlisted for work which sets to tackle inequality in higher education whilst driving entertainment value. Big love to everyone involved in the work and all those who have been shortlisted!

Over 100 MILLION global views and counting! On this day 10 years ago we released what is still one of our favourite project, the legendary video, 'What I Wasn't Taught In School'. The short film explores how a disgruntled student challenges their teacher on the poor teaching of Black History Month in schools during October in the UK. With a budget of less than £300, we simply wanted to create a video that educated ourselves, close friends and followers at the time, of the forgotten history that doesn't make it to the curriculums, workplace celebrations and conversations surrounding Black History Month. What occurred went beyond that expectation: 🌎 Global virality - 100M views from Suriname to South Africa (being naive, we didn't ident the video and it got ripped from our Youtube and put up on Facebook and Uncle/Auntie Whatsapp groups 📣 Action - off the back of the video, a petition was created to change the curriculum to better embed Black history. It got enough signatures to go to government - we all know what happens after that. 🗣 Legacy - every year since its release, we get messages from friends, family and our community expressing how the content was used in 'my kids assembly' or 'shown in my workplace'. Whilst the video was created in the early phases of our business journey, our ways of working remain the same (just scaled up). We sought insight from our friends on how they engaged with BHM and turned the insight into creative content with our edutainment framework. If you haven't seen the full vid search 'What I Wasn't Taught In School' on Youtube and have your notebooks at the ready. Big love to the powerhouse that is Samuel King for taking the vision forward and all the support we had in the background from the cast who did this for free to SOAS uni who let us use a lecture room on a weekend. We think this is the perfect meaning of #ReclaimingTheNarrative

READ ALL ABOUT IT, READ ALL ABOUT IT! Young people want out of the UK ✈ The digital report for our Get(ting) Out insight study is officially out for download (details about how to get your hands on it are at the end of the post!) Nothing, could have encapsulated the phrase ‘The UK is bad vibes’ better than the violent riots, racially motivated attacks and online vitriol experienced up and down the country over the past weeks. Whilst the media has gone quiet, we're shedding more light on the stark findings we gathered. Our work was covered exclusively in The Independent, on BBC and across various social media outlets. Here are the key stats from the findings👇 🤑 44% said they have considered leaving the UK to have opportunities to earn more money with better paid jobs. 📉 39% stated that the cost of living crisis was a major factor. ❌ 28% voiced dissatisfaction with the current government as a key driver. 🏥 20% are seeking better healthcare abroad. 😔18% (likely to be a lot more now) voiced concerns over rising racial inequality as a reason for considering exiting the UK. We'll be sharing some of the individul stories across the next week but you can get access to them, and recommendations of how we can curb the trend, straight to your inbox. How? Comment 'Getting Out' and we'll send you a direct link to the full report straight to your DMs!
