A Bold New Workspace for William Grant & Sons We’re excited to reveal the transformation of 7,000 sq ft of ground-floor space at William Grant & Sons' Richmond headquarters – a workspace designed to reflect their rich heritage and pioneering spirit. Blending craftsmanship with functionality, the space features warm, sculptural lighting, refined wood and metal finishes, and bespoke furniture to create an inviting yet sophisticated environment. A statement bar with illuminated shelving proudly showcases their premium spirits, while flexible collaboration zones, acoustic panelling, and glass-partitioned meeting rooms ensure a perfect balance of openness and focus. Ethan’s Industry Journey So Far! As our placement student Ethan Couldridge passes the halfway point of his year in industry, we caught up with him to hear about the exciting projects and site visits he’s been involved in recently… Salesforce Tower – "Seeing the structural transformations across three floors and the fully glazed central atrium up close was a definite highlight. Having contributed to client presentations throughout, I can’t wait to see this space come to life." The Shard – "Getting stuck into design, space planning, and furniture specification in one of the UK’s most iconic buildings is an opportunity I’m making the most of. And as for the views… they never get old! (Binoculars courtesy of Jellyfish! 👀)" West End – "At 28 Dover Street, the prestige and rich heritage of the area have shaped the high-end finishes we’re bringing to the space – an incredible project to be part of!" Events – "Getting involved in the social side of the industry, like attending the Workspace Design Show, has been a fantastic opportunity to network with both new and existing suppliers. Attending a supplier event at the Barbican Conservatory was particularly special as a lover of modernist architecture!" With so much hands-on experience already under his belt, Ethan’s industry journey is shaping up to be an exciting one!
