Every child with cancer, wherever they live in the world, should have equal access to the best possible treatment & care

About us

World Child Cancer’s vision is to see a world where every child with cancer has access to the best possible treatment and care. Our mission is to improve cancer diagnosis, treatment and palliative care for children in low and middle income countries, tackling the global inequality in the treatment of childhood cancer. We do this by establishing twinning partnerships linking hospitals in the developing world with hospitals in the developed world to provide a two-way transfer of expertise and skills to create locally appropriate solutions to the problem of childhood cancer in each country. This expertise and knowledge sharing is generously donated for free by our network of dedicated healthcare professionals.

With your help, we’re expanding our efforts to train healthcare workers in cancer detection and building stronger referral systems to ensure children can access life-saving care. 🌟 In Nepal, we’re taking this nationwide by expanding early warning signs training (EWSS) to all seven provinces, bringing care closer to home. 🌟 In Bangladesh, we’re extending EWSS training to rural areas, increasing early detection and improving referral systems for quicker access to treatment. With just a few days left in Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, you can double your impact by donating today. Match-funding is available up to £5,000 until the end of September!
