It was an honour to speak at the launch of the IGNIT3 Online Nutrition Training Modules, held at AGA KHAN UNIVERSITY, Karachi. These online training modules have been specifically developed to equip healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to make a meaningful impact on child, adolescent, and maternal nutrition. These training modules are offered through the World Continuing Education Alliance (WCEA) platform. In the closing remarks, I shared that Midwifery Association of Pakistan (MAP) has recently signed an agreement with WCEA. This course is crucial for addressing maternal malnutrition and newborn health challenges in Pakistan. As the President of MAP, I strongly advocate for this initiative, particularly for midwives, to enhance their capacity in providing essential care. Thank you to IGNIT3’s partners; Centre for Global Child Health, Nutrition International, WaterAid, and Aga Khan University for their dedication to championing these nutrition challenges.
