ROLE PURPOSE to win sales and grow (manage) accounts!

Our DBAMs will either be:

  • brilliant account managers able to get to know a managed ledger intimately to provide outstanding service and grow share of wallet and profitability by broadening the basket of goods sold and winning new work.

Or

  • Exceptional sales colleagues who love to pick the phone up to customers, sell the CCF proposition to secure an order - new/lapsed inorder to proactively drive new sales. These are likely to be smaller accounts in the first instance but may grow to be sizable customers placed on branch or KAD ledgers.

DBAM’s will be the” goto” colleagues in our region for sales excellence and will support our branches to deliver trading profit growth.

  • Supporting the Branches/cluster by contacting customers who are lapsed/dormant or new in order to determine if they will be looking to spend now or in the near future.
  • Working and developing our 501+ customer strategy across the cluster whilst receiving orders, gather information and verify details
  • Working on the management of our internal ledgered customers and demonstrating the ability to hunt the right accounts and develop them into CCF customers

KPI’s: Call rates, account management activity levels, account profitability levels, basket of goods and share of wallet indicators

Principal Accountabilities

Driving new business initiatives to targeted trade category customers, identifying sales leads and opportunities, working with the branch teams

Through consistent planning, make the most effective use of time as a resource to achieve objectives

Focus on developing lapsed non ledgered relationships between customer & branch (internal sales) Credit services or External representatives

Effectively engage and educate customers on CCF service and product proposition, by making outbound calls (warm & cold) to targeted and qualified prospects

Onboarding all New Accounts (Setting up Templates & Basic CSA’s and Understanding the Customer Potential) and being the initial link between customer and branch

Use of Sales Hub system to maintain, qualify and re-qualify accurate records of existing customer contacts and data allowing to maximise opportunities

Essential Experience

Prior experience of making successful targeted outbound sales calls to warm and cold customers

Managing customer feedback

Detail processing

Working with/supporting a team directly and indirectly

B2B/B2C experience

Managing and building key stakeholder relationships

Desirable Experience

Use of Sales Hub system

Management of customer accounts

Essential Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to a broad spectrum of individuals

Ability to work on your own initiative.

Attention to detail, organised.

Excellent customer service skills.

Sales negotiation skills.

Excellent working knowledge of Google docs
