Manufacturing Manager - Automotive & EV - UK - £85k
One of our Key Clients is a leading electric vehicle (EV) company based in the UK, dedicated to revolutionising the automotive industry with innovative and sustainable transportation solutions. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Manager to join their dynamic team.
The Manufacturing Manager will oversee and optimise all aspects of the manufacturing process to ensure efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective production. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong background in manufacturing management within the automotive or EV sector.
Job Title: Manufacturing Manager
Location: UK
Salary: £60,000 to £85,000 per annum
Work Schedule: Full-time, 5 days a week on-site, 8:00pm to 4:30pm
Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship available
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the manufacturing team to achieve production goals.
Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules to meet company targets and customer demand.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
Resource Management: Manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety standards and protocols.
Reporting and Analysis: Monitor production metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing management role, preferably within the automotive or EV industry.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field.
Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in manufacturing software and ERP systems.
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles, and quality control standards.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in manufacturing or project management are a plus.
