Quality Engineer

We are currently looking for an on site Quality Engineer professional to join our subsidiary in METKA EGN UK.

This role will encompass:


Develop Project Quality Plan:

• Develop comprehensive project quality plans and quality control procedures
  
  
  

Review and Approve Contractor Documents:

• Review and approve quality documents from EPC/FEED Contractors to ensure compliance with project quality standards
  
  
  

Implement Project Quality Plan:

• Ensure the effective implementation of the Project Quality Plan during the EPC/FEED contract phase
  
  
  

Address Quality Issues:

• Identify, evaluate, and resolve quality issues arising during the EPC/FEED works, reporting them to Project Management and the Owner as necessary
  
  
  

Weekly Reporting on Quality Management:

• Provide weekly (and when necessary, daily) reports on Project Quality Management system issues requiring attention from Project Management and the Owner
  
  
  

Coordinate with Construction Engineers:

• Collaborate with Construction Engineers in different disciplines during the construction phase, ensuring their tasks align with quality management activities
  
  
  

Conduct Project Internal Audits:

• Schedule and conduct internal quality audits on EPC/FEED Contractor activities, issue audit reports, and oversee the closure of actions
  
  
  

Ensure Compliance and Calibration: Ensure EPC/FEED Contractors' QA/QC personnel are appropriately qualified, review calibration systems for measuring equipment, and review/approve Inspection and Test Plans.

About You:


Electrical or Mechanical Background:

Possess a background in electrical or mechanical engineering.

7+ Years of Solar Project Management:

Demonstrate a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role, specifically managing solar projects.

Quality Systems Management:

Proven track record in managing quality systems, particularly in the context of large projects.

Solar Construction Expertise:

In-depth knowledge of solar project construction processes and adherence to industry standards.

Analytical and Communicative:

Ability to evaluate information for compliance, identify improvement opportunities, and strong communication skills.
