We've continued our support of STEP Isle of Man's lunchtime networking sessions, with the latest event focusing on key risk areas for trustees. Last week, Martine Fleming of BridsonHalsall gave a fantastic presentation on a range of topics, including the use of deeds of variation and family arrangements; and when a trustee should consider making an application to Court. A huge thank you to our STEP colleagues, and all those who took the time to join us for some excellent networking and knowledge-sharing. Pictured alongside Martine are STEP's Adam Beighton and Stuart Nelson, our Head of Fiduciaries and Funds, Isle of Man. #BarclaysIsleofMan #IsleofMan

When Justine Gaudion, fresh from school, began her career with Barclays, little did she know that she would still be working with us almost 40 years later. She’s held roles in all areas of the business, building her knowledge and experience as a team leader in Guernsey, Jersey, and the Isle of Man, as well as gaining new perspectives while working in Cyprus. “Barclays has been the best environment for me to thrive,” says Justine, who currently serves as our Guernsey Country Manager and Head of Local Markets across the Crown Dependencies. “I’ve worked with tremendous leaders who have actively encouraged and supported my development on every level,” she continues. Ahead of International Women’s Day, what’s her advice to empower women and girls looking to make a mark in their chosen career? “I’d say don’t be afraid to take a few sideways steps along the way. Experience is key and should never be underestimated. Don’t rush the journey and enjoy the ride. When you get to your destination it will have shaped your style, skills and impact.” #IWD2025 #InternationalWomensDay #Jersey #Guernsey #IsleofMan
