Today, we're celebrating the inauguration of the new Accelera by Cummins electrolyzer manufacturing plant in Guadalajara, Spain! 🎉 Accelera president Amy Davis and Cummins Inc. CEO Jennifer Rumsey were joined by partners and government officials to celebrate this significant milestone. The site produces our leading proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyzer systems and has an annual manufacturing capacity of 500 megawatts (MW), scalable to more than 1 gigawatt (GW). 📈 One of the largest electrolyzer production plants globally, the facility is designed with efficiency and sustainability in mind to complement the green hydrogen technology it will produce. Thanks to its energy-efficient design, rooftop solar panels, geothermal network and rainwater collection system, the plant produces up to 70% of its energy demand 🌍💡 Read more about the plant ➜ https://lnkd.in/e6mQpjDh #AccelerateTheShift #energytransition #greenhydrogen #PEMelectrolyzers
