I've seen more than a few posts that suggest GDC wasn't as good as it used to be... This was my first time going to GDC and in all honesty I had such an amazing time on so many levels! I was incredibly proud to represent my newly founded game development studio under the Welsh banner and everyone involved was brilliant and lovely and had really interesting stories. Aside from having an extremely productive trip, I also made so many new friends outside of the convention center. I echo the sentiment of some visitors who mentioned that American's enthusiasm is infectious; there's something about being around people who are open to interaction that helps you put yourself out there. I'd like to extend my gratitude to everyone at Creative Wales / Cymru Greadigol who facilitated the trip, as well as everyone I met who shared their time and experiences with me, as well as my good friend and studio co-founder Gaz Thomas .
