The latest edition of our Guide to Regional Arbitration is out.
GAR's superb guide to regional arbitration for 2024-2025 is out, the survey where we look at the less-famous arbitral institutions in the world and ask: “what are the options in a particular region or place” and “which of those are a safe pair of hands"? Compliments to all the institutions we identify – and especially this year Dubai International Arbitration Centre and Abu Dhabi International Arbitration Centre (arbitrateAD) to whom we gave votes of extra confidence. And to Netherlands Arbitration Institute (NAI) and The Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA) for having the most interesting new rules (in my humble opinion), in a year of lots of new rules. Not far behind: the Deutsche Institution für Schiedsgerichtsbarkeit e.V. (DIS) German Arbitration Institute for its third-party notices (which few seem to have spotted and are a kind of 'joinder-lite'). If you missed out on any of the gossip from the institutions (https://lnkd.in/ebMahDud) or hearing centres (https://lnkd.in/e_x39mvc) or just want to know the latest case numbers (we have numbers from ISTAC for the first proper time): it’s all in there. It also, as always, compares the square meterage and cost-per-room of the world’s most biggest hearing centres. (https://lnkd.in/e_x39mvc). You can find GAR GRA under ‘surveys' on the GAR website, or access it from the article below. Do have a look!
