It was a great pleasure to be asked to take part and moderate the session on "Digital Health : Value-based care and moving forward" at the Digital Forum of the Global Health Exhibition this afternoon. The discussion was aided by an excellent panel of: Navjot Kaur Kalra , Hussain Al-Omar and Mahmood Adil who provided great insight on the themes of the intersection of digital health and Value-Based care, learnings from healthcare transformation in other countries/regions and advancing digital health through the HTA Evaluation and Payer Reimbursement in Saudi Arabia. There was a fascinating range of experience from all the panellists which points towards the key role for the patient in this as well as collaboration between stakeholders to achieve the patient outcomes. Really encouraged to see the implementation of value-based approaches being discussed at this level and such a rich number of sessions incorporating these themes here at Global Health. Especially looking forward to seeing the Value in health - الصحة الحكيمة conference sessions on Wednesday.
