Wow! A massive congratulations to Beatrice Whelan and the 35 volunteers who took part in this challenge - over 120km covered and 60,000 euros raised to support families with night nurse care at the end of life. I was very fortunate last week to use my 5 Sage Foundation days to walk a stretch of the Camino in Northern Spain with the Irish Hospice Foundation. 35 volunteers walked over 120km together to reach the city of Burgos. It was a challenging but truly life changing week. I met incredible people, each with their own story that gave me a new perspective on life. Thank you to everyone that donated so I could hit my fundraising quota, and those that supported my fundraising efforts and events. I raised over 2,000 euro and in total the volunteers raised over 60,000 euro that will help hundreds of families with night nurse care at end of life. Thank you to Sage, Emma and Louise from Irish Hospice Foundation and our wonderful guides from Caminobytheway .

As a proud member of Business for Societal Impact (B4SI) since 2019, we were thrilled to host their "Social Impact in Action: A Shared Value Approach" event this week, bringing together social impact practitioners and thought leaders from across the B4SI Network. Wrapping up the week with a heartfelt activity led by our Sage Foundation team. I had the pleasure of taking some time to give back to an organization doing incredible work spreading the message of hope to children in need - the Happy Hope Factory. Today, we created Hope Kits—packed with coloring sheets, positive messages, and activities. Something so simple yet impactful. As someone who LOVES arts and crafts, my heart is full knowing the smiles these kits will bring to those who receive them. I’m grateful to be part of an organization that encourages and supports foundation-led activities across its colleague base. Reflecting back on Black Business Month at Sage, our Blacks United in Leadership and Development (BUILD) Network leaders organized on-site expos and a virtual panel discussion, providing a platform for Sage colleagues, Sage Foundation partners, and local Black-owned businesses to showcase their work and share insight into their entrepreneurship journey.
