Congratulations to our Chief Technology Officer Aaron Harris who has been selected as the ‘Champion for Change’ by the Association of Corporate Citizenship Professionals Purpose Awards! ACCP’s awards program recognises individuals helping to catalyse change within their companies. At Sage, Aaron steers global emerging tech investments and AI-powered innovations, and drives the company’s SaaS excellence -- but just as importantly, he actively works to address digital inequalities, and is passionate about driving STEM awareness and education amongst under-represented groups. This, in addition to him being the Ambassador for LGBTQ+ colleagues at the leadership level, where he champions their ambitions and helps address any roadblocks in their way leading to a more inclusive Sage. At Sage, Tech For Good is all about creating solutions to real-world problems using our resources in data and engineering. 🧑💻📈 Through our Tech for Good hackathon, we aim to tackle some of the most pressing social and environmental issues facing societies -- this year's hackathon focusing on Western Africa, in partnership with our friends at IDEMS International, aimed to tackle challenges in parenting 🧑🤝🧑, education📖 and agroecology🌿. The solutions our colleagues helped develop will ensure thriving crop harvest, enable teachers to create personalised learning plans and offer parents insights on how to connect with their children. We are very proud of what our colleagues created and hope to see some of their solutions in action improving human life. A massive thank you to everyone who took part! #TechforGood

We had the pleasure of spending a few days with 4 teens taking part in our new 'Decision Makers of Tomorrow' initiative in partnership with The Hundred and Teens in AI 🏏. Through the programme our hope was that the teens would get a sense of how exciting STEM careers can be - and that they would understand the skills and insights to consider relevant careers as they take the next step in education. Over the 5-days, the teens learnt: 👨💻 How critical decisions are made in real time in the lead up to as well as during a match day at the Oval ⚾ How Sportable’s groundbreaking smart-ball technology enhances sports around the world 💼 The wide variety of career opportunities available in STEM with the Sage early careers team A great experience for the Sage team and our partners -- and we're happy the teens had fun too! #TheHundred #STEM #BreakingDownBarriers
