Three new real-life images of what’s said to be the LeEco Le X920 (Le Max 3) have surfaced online on Wednesday, accompanied by several alleged screenshots of the software running on the upcoming handset. The newly uncovered set of photos mostly corroborates previous leaks and benchmark listings of the device, indicating that the Le X920 will ship with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and be powered by the Snapdragon 820, Qualcomm’s 2016 system-on-chip (SoC) that was integrated into a number of last year’s flagships including the LG G5 and U.S. variants of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. That particular piece of silicon is equipped with the Adreno 530 graphics chip, while the device itself will also feature 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal flash memory, the leak suggests. It’s currently unclear whether storage space of the Le X920 will be expandable as none of the new images show clear signs of a microSD card slot.

The Le X920 model that leaked earlier today seems to be a prototype, as evidenced by the fact that its back panel is missing some key components like the camera module. Still, the photographs suggest that the device will boast a dual camera setup consisting of two vertically arranged lenses and a dual LED, dual tone flash located immediately beneath them. The rear side of the supposed Le X920 also houses a regular fingerprint scanner, while its bottom bezel is free of a physical Home button. While the leaked images don’t confirm this particular detail, it’s likely that the smartphone will feature capacitive system buttons. The overall design of the handset is fairly standard, with the alleged Le X920 featuring regularly sized bezels, rounded case corners, and thin side bezels.

The rumored specifications of the phone indicate that it won’t be a major upgrade over the 2016 Le Max 2, with this particular variant of the device actually featuring less RAM than the more expensive version of its predecessor. However, the Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer will likely launch two models of the Le Max 3 sporting different amounts of storage space and RAM. It’s currently unclear when the Le X920 may be hitting the market, but more details on the matter should follow in the coming months.
