The alleged Honor 10 has just surfaced in a new image, and this is the clearest render of the device that we’ve seen thus far. Unfortunately, this render only shows us the back side of the phone, but the front side of the device will probably surface in the near future as well. As you can see, the back side of the Honor 10 actually resembles its predecessor, as we’re looking at a glass back here, while a dual camera setup is placed in the upper-left corner. This phone’s cameras are vertically-aligned, while an LED flash sits right next to them. Honor’s branding is placed on the back as well, and the sides are curved.

It seems like at least one of the Honor 10 variants will include a gradient color on the back, as this render suggests that this phone’s back will be both blue and purple, and chances are that the color will depend on the light that hits the device. That being said, Honor had already scheduled an event in London for April 15, and chances are that the company will introduce the Honor 10 during that event. Honor had actually confirmed that the Honor 10 will be announced in China on April 19, which also points to an May 15 global launch of the device. The Honor 10 will be a direct successor to the Honor 9, which was announced back in June last year, and it will be Honor’s new flagship handset. The Honor 10 will stand right next to the Honor View 10, though it will be noticeably smaller than the Honor View 10, at least that’s what people are expecting, as its predecessor shipped with a 5.15-inch display.

The Honor 10 will probably sport considerably thinner bezels than its predecessor, and a display notch will probably be included on the device, for better or for worse. Huawei’s Kirin 970 64-bit octa-core processor will fuel this smartphone, and that is the company’s most powerful processor to date. Android 8.1 Oreo will probably come pre-installed on the Honor 10, and on top of it, you’ll get Huawei’s Emotion UI (EMUI) 8.1 skin. The device’s display will be smaller than 6 inches, it will be a 5.8-inch panel, if a recent rumor is to be believed. The device will probably pack in 6GB of RAM, though a 4GB RAM variant is also a possibility.
