The ASUS ZenFone 7 is coming soon, and its price has just surfaced. In addition to the price tag, Roland Quandt, a well-known tipster, has also shared some spec information.

Mr. Quandt claims that the phone will be fueled by the Snapdragon 865 Plus SoC. That is Qualcomm’s most powerful processor at the moment, and the SoC mentioned on Geekbench quite recently.

He also says that one variant of the phone will include 8GB of RAM, which is also something that was mentioned in a Geekbench listing. The tipster says that 256GB of storage will be included in this model as well.

A 5,000mAh battery will be a part of the package as well, it seems. That variant of the device will cost €549, but it won’t be the only variant. It seems like ASUS is planning to release a 6GB RAM model as well.

The base model of the ASUS ZenFone 7 will be a steal at this price

That variant, with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, will set you back €499. That is also something that Mr. Quandt clarified in a reply to his original tweet.

So, as you can see, the ASUS ZenFone 7 may turn out to be a steal at that price tag. 6GB of RAM is still more than enough for most phones and users, and the Snapdragon 865 Plus will make sure everything is running fine.

Getting a flagship-grade phone for €499 these days is not easy, that’s for sure. ASUS still needs to deliver in other areas, though. We still don’t have the information on its display, and other parts of the device.

I hope that the company will utilize an OLED panel this time around. If I had to guess, I’d say that a fullHD+ OLED display will be included, and that it will be flat. It remains to be seen, though.

The company may utilize a rotating camera setup yet again

It also remains to be seen whether ASUS will utilize a rotating camera setup once again. The ASUS ZenFone 6, as most of you know, included a rotating camera setup, which served as both front and rear-facing camera setup.

If ASUS ends up utilizing something like that, the phone won’t have any display holes or notches. ASUS will, once again, be able to trim down those bezels, without taking away screen real estate.

The ASUS ZenFone 7 will become official on August 26. That is something ASUS confirmed already. The phone will get announced in Taiwan, ASUS’ homeland. This device will become available in a ton of other markets, though.
