Steve Edwards
On-Call HostOriginally from England, Steve has deep roots in jazz and soul and started on-air hosting at BBC (Radio1) JazzFM in London before moving to the US. His work on-air as a host and producer at KOAS and public radio jazz station KUNV earned him induction into the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame.
Steve has worked with a variety of music styles and interviewed many artists that have shaped Jazz and Soul music including Branford Marsalis, Betty Carter and Marvin Gaye. His involvement in other music industry ventures include record production, event promotion, magazine and website publishing and the development of a website on behalf of Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas. Steve has a warm engaging personality, a good sense of humor, and of course a British accent filtered through his family West Indian accent.
