Dear 40 Over 40 Followers, Many of you may not know, I am a proud California resident and have called this beautiful state my home for the past 11 years. I cannot imagine a better place to live, surrounded by vibrant communities and breathtaking landscapes. It’s heartbreaking to see the devastation caused by the wildfires, with many friends and neighbors losing their homes. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this tragedy. In moments like these, I’m reminded of the power of coming together to support one another. Reflecting on the honor it is to be recognized alongside driven and impactful women, who each have an incredible story, at 40 Over 40 this past Friday. The closing message by Julia Deaver and Robyn Cohen was a testament to the collective good we can achieve when visionary leaders are fueled by purpose. Thank you, 40 Over 40 , Julia Deaver, and Robyn Cohen, for creating a platform to celebrate women making remarkable contributions in Utah! I’m humbled and honored to be included among this powerhouse group of change-makers, impact drivers, and leaders. I’ve never been one who seeks recognition. Perhaps because I know real, lasting change is built from small steps taken over many years. Often, we don’t notice the impact until we pause and reflect. It’s been 30 years since I started at CAPSA—a span of time that sometimes feels impossible to say out loud. What I do know for certain is that no one makes a difference alone. Every accomplishment I’ve been part of happened because others chose to walk alongside me. Many of them have talents and expertise I will never possess, and I am grateful for each and every one of them. We need each other. Thank you, Julia and Robyn, for bringing women together to celebrate and lift each other up! Here’s to many more years of small steps, collective efforts, and meaningful impact.

Had the best time celebrating Tanei Atagi Henry and all the heart she puts into Provo Gril’s Summit at 40 Over 40 Best surprise to run into some more of my favorite Utah women like Sunny Washington Bri Ray Aupiu Nikki Walker 🫶🏻 Utah, you’re special in a lot of great AND challenging ways. But, you definitely know a thing or two about community. And this Nashville kid is grateful for that.

It all started in 2022 when my incredible wife Robyn Cohen decided she was fed up with all the 40 Under 40 accolades. I'm always impressed at how she takes an idea and brings it to life. She quickly joined forces with her co-founder, Julia Deaver, and built the foundation of 40 Over 40 today. So a big congratulations on the 3rd Annual 40 Over 40 Gala and all the amazing women honored on Friday! 🎉 Once again, we celebrated 40 exceptional women who are making profound impacts in their industries and communities. These leaders exemplify the power of experience, wisdom, and determination that grows stronger with time.
