This past week, the 4th Security Force Assistance Brigade joined USAREUR-AF G3 in Wiesbaden, Germany, for a collaborative planning conference focused on synchronizing and operationalizing Security Force Assistance throughout Europe. Our Brigade Staff, Battalion Command Teams, and deployed Force Package engaged with USAREUR-AF Staff, theater security cooperation mission partners, and Major Subordinate Commands (MSCs) to lay the groundwork for mission alignment into FY25 and beyond. This comprehensive approach strengthens relationships with key stakeholders and enhances Allied and Partner capabilities. In an ever-evolving security environment, our work today directly impacts the cohesion and readiness of the Alliance, ensuring a prepared and unified response to deter and, if necessary, win in conflict. Below are some insights from LTC Jason Murray, Commander of the 4th Battalion, on the Army’s Command Assessment Program (CAP). This initiative plays a crucial role in ensuring that the Army selects and places the best leaders in positions where they can make the most impact. The mission of CAP is to execute world-class, current, and relevant assessments, providing proven and objective data as a core component of the Army’s selection process. This process ensures we slate top leaders into key roles where they can truly influence and shape the future of our Army. #army #military
"I think that the process was a little easier than (BCAP21). It seems like they made a lot of good adjustments to the program and really took our AAR comments to heart and making changes for the positive." Hear from recent #ArmyCAP26 graduate, LTC Jason Murray, commander of 4th Field Artillery Battalion, 4th Security Force Assistance Brigade for his take on returning to the #CommandAssessmentProgram for CCAP after attending the program's first assessment, BCAP21. #LearningOrganization #TalentWins #WorldClassFairConsistent

Behind the Scenes with the 4th SFAB and getting Our Advisors & Equipment Where They’re Needed! 🌍 Seeing a C-5 on the tarmac is always impressive, but it’s what goes on behind the scenes that truly makes a mission like this possible. At the 4th SFAB, our mobility team is hard at work coordinating with our Force Package’s S4 and Unit Movement Officers (UMOs), ensuring that every detail aligns for successful air transport with the Air Force. Transporting a Force Package isn’t as simple as loading equipment onto a plane. It takes strategic planning, extensive coordination, and an unwavering attention to detail. From validating timelines and working with the Air Force to conducting inspections and meeting airload standards, our BDE is focused on maintaining a seamless rotation of Advisors to support our NATO Allies and Partners. A huge thanks to the dedicated teams who make this possible. Their commitment ensures that our Advisors are equipped and ready to fulfill their mission wherever they’re needed. #military #army #readiness #airforce

Our Advisors continue to make a difference everywhere! Helping the local community is another example of how we excel through “Unity and Victory!” Members of 2nd Battalion, 4th SFAB, proudly participated in the 4th Infantry Division’s “Good Neighbor” program, partnering with Imagination Celebration, InnerCHANGEWorks, and the Cheyenne Mountain Newcomers Club to support Afghan refugees in the Colorado Springs area. Our team helped pick up and deliver donated furniture, ensuring these families have the essentials they need to settle in. Many of these refugees, now American citizens, are contributing to the Department of Defense by providing critical support in Afghan, Syrian, Pakistani, and Middle Eastern relations. This small act of service is another example of Advisors leading the way across all avenues of partnership! Great work team! #army #fortcarson #colorado #community
