How are you measuring your impact on climate resilience? At 60dB, we’ve developed a lean approach which focuses on assessing: 1) Perceived resilience: We use four key indicators to assess how an individual’s resilience to potential future shocks has changed as a result of working with an organization. These indicators draw on Jones & Tanner’s work on subjective resilience. 2) Realized resilience: For those households who have experienced a shock recently, we capture five more indicators to measure how they fared in the face of a shock, and what was the impact of a given organization on their experience. 3) Resources and enablers: We measure changes in a household’s access to key resources and enablers that are proven to be drivers of household resilience, providing objective measures of what factors have changed and actionable insights on how to better support households. These indicators align with COSA’s resilience framework. When women are supported, entire communities rise. Project Mesha, supported by the Aga Khan Foundation India, is transforming the lives of women in rural India. This initiative empowers women as Pashu Sakhis (community paravets / friends of the animal), shaping them into leaders in livestock care and agricultural development. Through their dedication, these women are not just improving goat health — they're boosting incomes, enhancing livelihoods, and reshaping social norms in Bihar. Empowerment isn't just a word — it's measurable progress. And with Project Mesha, rural women are proving that when given the right tools and training, they can drive lasting change. Check out the full read for key findings from 60 Decibels' studies that have helped Project Mesha measure and track its progress over the last six years: https://lnkd.in/egHT4G3R #GenderEquity #RuralDevelopment #WomenEmpowerment #AgriculturalLeadership #SocialImpact
