This month, two significant national observances offer the opportunity to support colleagues and co-workers: World Mental Health Day on Thursday, Oct. 10 and National Coming Out Day on Friday, Oct. 11. World Mental Health Day 2024 champions mental health in the workplace and highlights the need to create supportive environments where workers have the potential to contribute and thrive. National Coming Out Day recognizes the power of diversity, equity and inclusion for everyone, especially those in the LGBTQ+ community. Let’s all be mindful of both these important days that, together, contribute to a healthier, more productive workplace for everyone.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in supporting our recent in-store fundraising campaign benefiting Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals. With your generosity, 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes Convenience Stores were able to raise over $2.7 million for CMN Hospitals, helping to ensure that every child across the communities we serve has the opportunity to reach their full potential. #7Cares #ChangeKidsHealth #ChildrenMiracleNetworkHospitals  

Our thoughts are with all those affected by Hurricane Helene, including many 7-Eleven customers, Franchise Owners and store associates. On behalf of our entire team, I want to thank our Franchisees and store associates who have courageously served their communities during this incredibly difficult time. I also want to thank our field team and Store Support Center volunteers who are working tirelessly to support stores that have been impacted. I’m always inspired by how our teams come together to support each other and their communities. In response to this disaster, the 7-Eleven Cares Foundation will match individual donations to the American Red Cross Hurricane Helene Disaster Relief fund from Franchise Owners and 7-Eleven, Inc. employees up to $350,000 to support the American Red Cross as they provide food and shelter for people facing the heartbreaking devastation left behind by this hurricane.
