The gender gap is real. And it exists among BIPOC voters too – even while they lean more Democratic overall. ♂️ Our polling for the NewWorld Election Report (https://lnkd.in/dTbSgq48) shows that men of color are not quite all in for Kamala the way their sisters and mothers and wives and girlfriends are. Closing this gap is actually an opportunity for the Harris-Walz campaign. As we explained in the report recently: with razor thin margins, just a 1% boost in the voting patterns of Black voters alone could be decisive. 📈 One of the biggest gender gaps we found among working class voters of color was on the issue of inflation. The campaign has more to do to convince men of color on their ability to bring it down. While many assume that all voters of color are with Kamala on all issues, we look at the data... 🌎 On the topic of immigration, working class men of color actually back Trump. This might be an uncomfortable truth but Harris-Walz ignore it at their peril.

Right now Harris isn’t convincing enough key voters of color that she can help them economically. And although her recent speech around the "opportunity economy" did go farther to cast her as a candidate ready to deliver for working people, did it go far enough? According to our most recent tracking poll there is another powerful economic message that unites diverse groups of voters of color under a narrative that includes progressive, populist economic policies. And the campaign needs to start trying it... like-yesterday. Check out of issue 05 of the NewWorld Election Report, https://lnkd.in/egJS9BSu

What happens if white swing voters actually move towards Trump at the last moment? Could Black voters (as always) be the answer to delivering Harris a decisive election victory? For this issue of the New World Election Report, our team built a tool that pulls together data on swing state voters, broken out by race, to project how subtle shifts in voter behavior could impact the final result in the Electoral College. Spoiler Alert! The results say a lot about who the Harris campaign should be betting on in the next 45 days. Check out our election scenarios below and we’ll be back soon to go deeper on how to urgently move Black voters in the final weeks leading up to the election. https://lnkd.in/etXgT75x

We at A—B were thrilled to wake up and see Kamala Harris yet again declaring her commitment to worker power alongside SEIU (our creative in the background doesn’t hurt either 🎉). We’re excited to keep helping these two leaders win in this moment and beyond. https://lnkd.in/e956HtQn
