Last month, A-dec Inc. held our 60th Anniversary celebration. Local employees gathered with A-dec’s family ownership, and special guests from the City of Newberg, Medical Teams International, and YCAP (YAMHILL COMMUNITY ACTION PARTNERSHIP). The event included two exciting announcements. First, A-dec’s employees organized a fundraising campaign called “60 Days of Giving” to support YCAP, a local non-profit that helps low-income families in Yamhill County. The campaign, driven by employees, raised more than $55,000, which will go toward community programs such as housing stabilization, energy assistance, regional food banks, and youth outreach (view photos from our 60 Days of Giving fundraisers, located in our photo albums). Second, A-dec pledged $100,000 over the next three years for ongoing support of Medical Teams International and their Care & Connect program. A-dec has been supporting Medical Teams’ mobile dental program since 1990, by contributing to program funding and providing dental equipment for Medical Teams’ mobile health vans.
