The safety of our employees is always our main priority. In light of the loss of life from the Key Bridge collapse, safety is even more at the forefront and makes this year’s National Work Zone Awareness Week even more poignant. The theme for this year’s Awareness Week is “Work zones are temporary. Actions behind the wheel can last forever.” The week also coincides with the National Stand-Down to Prevent Struck-by Incidents. Struck-by injuries occur from violent contact or impact between an object or piece of equipment and a person. To raise awareness and help prevent struck-by injuries, we ask you to join us in speaking with your employees about safety on a worksite and to friends and family on the importance of safe driving in roadway work zones. #NWZAW #Orange4Safety

During an archaeological survey in Upper Saucon Township, A.D. Marble recovered more than 90 Native American artifacts, including pieces of pottery, tools and a flint knifepoint. The items are believed to be about 3000 to 6000 years old. The items will be returned to Delaware Nation, a sovereign and federally recognized nation of Lenape people.   Most of the items found were pre-contact, meaning they were made before European settlements. A.D. Marble recognizes the importance of the findings and ensuring the artifacts are returned to preserve the Lenape culture. #culturalresources #archaeology #admarble #Lenape
