    Congratulations to Richard “Ricky” A. As a premier U.S. government research facility under the U.S. Department of Energy, NREL specializes in advancing renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies, with expertise in solar, wind, bioenergy, geothermal, energy storage, and more within sustainable aviation. NREL’s expertise and resources are highly valued by our members, making the laboratory a key partner in driving innovation. With NREL joining the Consortium, we now have 60 engaged stakeholders dedicated to transforming the airport industry. We look forward to the exciting opportunities this collaboration will bring.

    Irish flag carrier Aer Lingus has announced plans to add a nonstop flight between its hub at Dublin Airport and Nashville International. The route will start April 12, 2025, and operate four times a week using an Airbus A321XLR. “A new chapter in travel history begins ... as Music City and the Emerald Isle are linked by a nonstop flight through our exciting new partnership with Aer Lingus,” said Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority President and CEO Doug E.
