Work is well underway on the AASHTOWare Bridge Design and Rating (BrDR) 7.6 release which is scheduled for December 2024 release. The primary focus of the 7.6 release is to provide users with the latest updates to the AASHTO bridge specifications as soon as they become available. Some of the major enhancements included with the 7.6 release include the following: -AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications, 10th Edition: The 10th edition incorporates the approved ballots at the 2021, 2022, and 2023 AASHTO Committee on Bridges & Structures Annual (COBS) Meeting. -AASHTO Manual for Bridge Evaluation, 3rd Edition, 2024 Interim Revisions: The 2024 interim revisions incorporate the approved ballots at the 2022 and 2023 AASHTO COBS Annual Meeting. -BrDR development migration to the .NET 8 software development platform: .NET 8 is a huge technological advancement from the .NET Framework development platform that BrDR is based on. Exciting week in Kalispell, MT, where the AASHTOWare Safety User Experience Committee held its annual meeting! A huge thank you to the Montana Department of Transportation and Patricia Burke for their planning and hosting. The meeting featured insightful discussions on how states are leveraging AASHTOWare Safety powered by Numetric to manage the Highway Safety Manual Part C, shared recommendations for future enhancements, and provided valuable feedback on the product roadmap for the upcoming year.
