  • As Women in Construction Week comes to an end, we have one more remarkable woman in construction to celebrate! Alison Stanton, Vice President of Community & Citizenship at Turner Construction Company, has not only built a remarkable career but has also helped shape the ACE Mentor Program of Greater Boston. As a founding member and our affiliate’s first Board President, Alison has been instrumental in providing students with access, exposure, and opportunities in the industry. Her journey is nothing short of inspiring. Alison started at Turner in 2000 as a receptionist, with plans to save money and return to teaching. But once she experienced the camaraderie and impact of the construction industry, she knew she had found her place. Now, nearly 25 years later, she leads Turner’s community initiatives—proving that growth and success come from seizing opportunities and embracing mentorship. Alison believes: “If you can’t see it, you can’t be it.” Through ACE, she has helped countless students explore careers in architecture, construction, and engineering, showing them just how many paths are available in the industry. Thank you, Alison, for your dedication to building both stronger communities and the next generation of industry professionals!
