Despite the uncertainty of the world around us, one thing is CERTAIN: students across Metro Atlanta and every corner of this country are getting ready to launch into adulthood and looking to the adults in their lives to help them take those next steps. That's why, I'm excited OneGoal Metro Atlanta will be hosting our 4th Annual Student Summit this Friday at Clayton State, focused on *career exposure*. With over *500* students in attendance, 100+ community members will be there to volunteer, host career panels and host workshops on topics like: Careers AI, Careers in Sports, Aviation, Healthcare, Skilled Trades, the Film Industry, Law, Politics and more. There will be music, there will likely be dancing, there will be learning, and there will be JOY. Last Thursday, Achieve Atlanta’s organizational effectiveness team took some time to tour the World of Coke together. It was an amazing opportunity to connect with each other (including taking sips of everyone’s favorite drink, Beverly 🥴, and cutting up a bit during the film 😬). We're seeking an enthusiastic Program Associate, Scholarship & Affordability to collaborate closely with the Scholarship & Affordability team supporting college access, affordability, and success, as well as external partners. This key role involves assisting with the recruitment and promotion of the Achieve Atlanta Scholarship, triaging student issues received through program communication channels, and aiding with affordability programming, including administrative and logistical support. We're also seeking a dedicated Associate, Scholarship Operations, to join our Systems & Operations team in supporting Scholars through the scholarship application process to disbursement of funds. This key role will review applications for eligibility, serve as a point of contact for students, and improve operational efficiency.
