This week we were in court in San Francisco representing a group of Venezuelan and Haitian Temporary Protected Status (TPS) holders against the Trump administration’s unlawful termination of their TPS humanitarian relief. https://lnkd.in/dXJtZ8g3 The campaign to protect TPS is led by the National TPS Alliance, a member-led organization of tens of thousands of TPS holders and the lead plaintiff in the case. The plaintiffs are represented by the NDLON National Day Laborer Organizing Network, the ACLU Foundations of Northern California and ACLU SoCal, the Center for Immigration Law and Policy (CILP) at the UCLA School of Law, and the HAITIAN BRIDGE ALLIANCE.

Today, we sued Border Patrol over unlawful raids in Kern County. Agents stopped, arrested, and detained day laborers and farmworkers regardless of their immigration status.
