A global power equipment manufacturer needed a specialized facility to safely test hydrogen fuel cells and batteries, as their existing site lacked the capability to handle hydrogen's complexities. ACS was responsible for designing the hydrogen lab and test cell, incorporating a hydrogen distribution system, battery storage, and explosion relief wall. The team also engineered and built a custom Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) system, featuring five panels that controlled hydrogen delivery, testing, safety systems, and operator interfaces, ensuring efficient and secure operations.
