The Adirondack Health Foundation recently launched the Helping Hands and Hearts program and has received its first gifts. A patient’s family made a gift to oncology in honor of Dr. David Mastrianni, Dr. Emily Szczech, and Breast Care Navigator Margaret Sorensen. The Foundation’s Emily Moulton met with the three recipients to present them with pins recognizing and congratulating them for their outstanding care, which resulted in this gift. Another patient made a donation in honor of Physical Therapist Makenzie Grevelding. The Helping Hands and Hearts program helps recognize a specific employee or employees or a whole department, and possibly facilitates a donation to the Adirondack Health Foundation. Donations to the Helping Hands and Hearts program can be made by calling the Adirondack Health Foundation at 518-897-2370.
