About us
We are a self-organized group of Afghans, veterans, frontline civilians, current and former members of the national security and intelligence communities, members of human rights-focused non-profits, Hill staffers, private sector employees, and others. Members of the #AfghanEvac coalition collaborate on the full pipeline from humanitarian support on the ground through evacuation opportunities, and resettlement efforts. We built and administer the mechanism for cooperation between US government agencies and private groups and work hand-in-hand with these partners, legislators and the public to coordinate efforts, improve efficiency and disseminate information.

The latest information on the report from EO14161 and upcoming travel ban. - We're still hearing the report hasn't gone over to the White House from State Department yet - Also hearing that the travel ban has been drafted but does NOT include an exemption for SIVs - Nothing is certain until EO signed, so no one knows for sure what is going to happen - Get here if you can #AfghanEvac

Tamim's family was one of the last reunifications that happened before Executive Orders brought #EnduringWelcome to a grinding halt. There are 10,000 remaining. Rep McCaul is right -- these folks are the most vetted population in our history and the cost is worth it.

The report on #EO14161 has not yet gone to the White House so valid U.S. visa or green card holders still have time to make it to the United States before an expected travel ban. We'll let you know when we hear it's gone to the White House. #AfghanEvac
