Lt. Gen. Donna D. Shipton, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Commander and RSO Program Executive Officer, held an All Call meeting with RSO staff yesterday to discuss the upcoming standup of the Combat Readiness Directorate on October 1. The RSO will continue its mission of rapidly discovering and developing innovative technologies for the Air Force sustainment enterprise as it becomes a Division within this new Directorate, joining four Divisions of the former AFLCMC Agile Combat Support Directorate. #OneAirForce #FlyFightWin #AFRSO

We were pleased to host first sergeants from Air Force bases located across the country for the 1SGT Summit last week. First sergeants, also known as the “First Shirt,” advise commanders on the readiness, health, morale, welfare, and quality of life of Airmen and families to ensure a mission-ready force. The three-day event, which focused on daily topics of 1SGT's Role, Building the Future Path, and Compassion and Understanding, included opening comments from Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Commander and RSO Program Executive Officer, Lt. First Lieutenant Kevin Vazquez-Andujar serves as Data & Digital Environments Program Manager for our Rapid, Agile, Integrated Capabilities Team, supporting the rapid adoption of sustainment-centric technologies to improve readiness and positively impact costs. “Growing up, I always had a desire to be a part of something greater than myself and to surround myself with others who had a common goal,” says Vazquez-Andujar. “This aspiration, paired with the emphasis that the Air Force puts towards developing skills, teamwork and leadership, led me to join the service.” #DeliveringInnovation #Airmen #AFRSO
