We deliver tailored lending solutions to North Carolina’s farmers and rural communities. AgCarolina is a member of the Farm Credit System, the largest provider of credit to American agriculture. As a member-owned financial services cooperative, we provide farmers, ranchers and agribusinesses with the greatest opportunity for success through low-cost financing and exceptional service. As one of North Carolina’s leading agricultural lenders, we have approximately $3 billion in outstanding loans to more than 6,000 members. Our 20 branch offices are located throughout eastern North Carolina and are governed by local directors, who are also farmers. Unlike commercial banks, our cooperative structure means a portion of the profits generated from our lending activity is returned to our members in the form of patronage refunds, which significantly reduces the cost of borrowing for our members.

#MemberSpotlight — Lancaster Farms | Wilson County, NC 🌾 For over seven generations, the Lancaster family has been farming in Wilson County, passing down core values and innovative farming techniques along the way. Now, cousins Sarah, Vann, Derek, and Bryant are leading the charge, growing everything from peanuts and sweetpotatoes to tobacco. Their dedication to both their farm and community earned them the Innovative Young Farmer of the Year award at this year's annual Breakfast with the Commissioner.
