Folks, like many of you, I've been kicking the tires and test driving Google's #NotebookLM. What better to feed it than my recent posts on LinkedIn capturing the highlights and takeaways from the AI Realized summit (Oct. 2nd). I was totally blown away by the impressive results; particularly the audio overview in the form of a podcast reviewing my notes! Admittedly, NotebookLM embellishes a lot, takes to some hyperbole, hallucinates a slight bit (most likely because it doesn't have all of the information while trying to connect the dots), goes off tangent, misses some attribution, and there's some audio artifact and distortion, but it certainly does a bunch of research in the b/g to augment the content you throw at it. NotebookLM is not perfect yet, but this is an amazing start. A nice upgrade would be to sample one's voice and synthesize it as opposed to using generic ones.
