    According to #DDI, organizations who excel at #PeopleAnalytics are 3.1 times more likely to outperform their peers. Visier Inc. research shows that organizations with more mature people analytics practices see 55% higher profit margins and 22% higher return on assets. 🚀 People analytics in action: $2.5 million generated from employee retention First West Credit Union—the third-largest credit union in British Columbia, Canada—achieved $2.5 million in annual revenue generated by roles retained as a result of using people #analytics to investigate their employee turnover issues. After drilling into their workforce data, they discovered #turnover was focused within FOUR key sales roles on the retail banking side of the organization, specifically in ONE particular REGION. With this information, the company developed more effective #recruitment, #hiring, #succession planning, #coaching strategies that led to better #retention of these important revenue-producing roles.     Human-centered AI The key to AI implementation success is understanding 'WHY' users trust and interact with #AI. Like everything, it comes down to your human understanding of your #customers—the state of mind they are in and their actual needs. And the mental models they hold may not actually correspond to the hard facts of reality. Everything boils down to the human user. When we think about AI from a human standpoint, we see: -> #Data Science : produces insights about people’s needs and desires -> #Machine Learning: produces predictions about what people will do -> #Artificial Intelligence: produces actions that help people Steve Jobs once stated, “Some people say, “Give the customers what they want.” But that’s not my approach. Our job is to figure out what they’re going to want before they do... People don’t know what they want until you show it to them. That’s why I never rely on market research. Our task is to read things that are not yet on the page.” Henry Ford and Steve Jobs, Both legendary innovators seem to dismiss market research, yet we are all taught that market research and listening to the customer is essential. So how do we reconcile this contradiction? -> By understanding that there is a difference between the Voice of the Customer (VOC) and Customer Insights. -> VOC is the items customers demand, but Customer insights are the nuggets gleaned by researching and evaluating how customers behave, interact and feel towards a product. -> Insights come from being empathetic to customers, removing any biases and looking through the lens of the customer.     🚀 Product Mindset for HR : Have you explored the concept of #Product Principles in #HR? 🚀 💡1st Principle-> The Power of #Experimentation - Testing of ideas to determine what works—without fear of failure. In HR, this might mean piloting a new process with one team before scaling it or trying various formats to find what works best. This approach enables us to identify #high-impact initiatives while eliminating others, ensuring we consistently deliver value where it matters most. 💡2nd Principle-> #User-Centric Design: Prioritizing People In product development, user experience is paramount. By applying a user-centric mindset to HR, we start by prioritizing the employee experience. What do our employees need to thrive? How can we make them more productive and engaged? In her book, Jessica Z. describes employee experience as a subscription product. Just as Netflix must continually offer relevant content to keep subscribers engaged, organizations must provide ongoing value to their employees. Each month an employee chooses to stay with a company is akin to renewing their subscription. “To keep employees subscribed, we must engage and develop them consistently.” This could mean redesigning #training programs to be more interactive or implementing flexible #policies that cater to our diverse workforce. By focusing on the employee experience, we can create HR initiatives that truly make a difference. 💡3rd Principle-> Iterative #Improvement: Continuous Optimization Products are never truly finished; they evolve based on user feedback and changing needs. Likewise, HR practices should continuously evolve. We should actively seek opportunities to optimize our processes & policies. This might involve regular employee feedback sessions,adopting new tools to streamline HR tasks,or staying updated on the latest HR technologies & trends. 💡Are you ready to experiment with product principles in HR? -> Here’s how to kick off: 1. Identify a small project: Choose an HR initiative that could benefit from a fresh perspective. 2. Define success metrics: What does success look like? Establish specific, measurable goals. 3. Experiment: Implement your idea on small scale and gather data. 4. Analyze & iterate: Assess what worked and what didn’t. Use insights to refine your approach & try again.     🚀 CEO sentiment on full return-to-office soars 🚀 As per the latest edition of KPMG CEO Outlook (based on the insights of more than 1,300 CEOs at large companies globally, including 400 in the United States) : -> 79% of U.S. CEOs envision the working environment for corporate employees whose roles were traditionally based in-office to be back in the #physical workplace in the next three years – a marked shift from earlier this year (34%) -> 17% of U.S. CEOs envision these roles to be #hybrid (46% earlier this year) and only 4% envision them being fully #remote (3% earlier this year) -> 72% of CEOs said #GenAI will not fundamentally impact the number of jobs but will require #upskilling and existing resources to be redeployed.
