We encourage engineering as well as Architecture firms to be the hosts. Cote roundtables are intended to cater to all building industry professionals and there will be opportunity to collaborate with other firms and disciplines. Who tells our story? Who explains to our neighbors all that an architect must master to create functional designs which are aesthetically pleasing, environmentally sustainable, and integrate with their surrounds? Who explains to them the Art of Architecture and the Art of the Detail? Charlotte's 60th Annual Festival in the Park will be held September 20-22 in Freedom Park, and AIA Charlotte is privileged to have been chosen to participate. If you enjoy Arts Festivals and can take a couple of hours out of one weekend day to tell your neighbors about what we do, then join us under the "Big-Top" (or in this case, under our 10x10 tent.) We need a minimum of 24 volunteer members who will work in pairs over a two-hour period to staff our tent. If you have time to volunteer, make this a family event. There will be plenty to see and do at this annual gathering. Come and be part of this adventure with your colleagues and meet your community. Help us design a great space under our tent, and help us tell our story the way it needs to be told.

Save the date for AIA/AAH Charlotte Chapter’s first in-person event, a Panel on Human-Centered Design in Healthcare and the new Atrium Rehabilitation Hospital, at DPR Construction, October 9th from 3pm-6pm.
