The Association for the Improvement of American Infrastructure (AIAI) is a non-profit organization formed in the District of Columbia to help shape the direction of the national Public Private Partnership marketplace. AIAI serves as a national proponent to facilitate education and legislation through targeted advocacy. AIAI believes that effective and well-planned education can provide civic leaders with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about the benefits of public private partnerships: economic development, life cycle cost savings, risk transfer and accelerated project delivery. We aim to shape a better America through the success and growth of our industry through job creation and providing a platform for the exchange of innovative ideas. AIAI's Board is comprised of leaders of the construction and development industry. Their extensive national and international experience and industry knowledge provides AIAI with a clear direction for developing and advocating policy and legislative solutions, allowing more equitable and effective partnerships across diverse market sectors from transportation and energy to educational, health and public service institutions.

As we face increasing demands on our infrastructure, public-private partnerships (P3s) have proven to be a powerful tool for delivering critical projects that not only improve mobility but also drive economic growth. We’re proud of our role in leading the way with innovative solutions like the TEXpress Lanes in Dallas-Fort Worth—a model that is making a real difference in how we build and sustain infrastructure. We’ve successfully replicated this model in other states, such as North Carolina and Virginia and we are glad to see that more States are adopting this model for the delivery of major transportation programs in urban areas. In Ferrovial’s latest blog, we share insights on how P3s are transforming America's infrastructure and the long-term benefits they bring to our communities: https://lnkd.in/gdM9jbYj
