One of the many invaluable aspects of serving as an Air Force Junior ROTC instructor is sharing in the continuing journey and success of the cadets you've helped mentor and inspire. At least four of our instructors were on hand to commission or render first salutes to their former cadets at the United States Air Force Academy graduation this week. The fact that these cadets, now 2d Lieutenants, would recognize their AFJROTC instructors for this seminal honor is a testament to the enduring legacy of their service as instructors. #AFJROTC #usaf #airforceacademy #AirUniversity #usafa

As the school year comes to a close there are so many examples of amazing teens earning achievements!

This is Space Force Junior ROTC Singing the Space Force Song with a “Rock Star” The #CadetGuardians of Space Force JROTC unit VA-821 D-Flight in Arlington (Virginia) had the privilege this morning to host and share wisdom about living the four #GuardianValues with one of the true “rock stars” of the United States Space Force. Just before heading north on his first summer vacation after retirement, Chief Master Sgt. of the Space Force #1 Roger A. Towberman took the time to personally encourage these young Americans as they pursue their mission to become #citizens of #character with a #space-vision. As happens before every class, these high school students sing the Space Force song, Semper Supra. They were warned to be on their “A game” as the Chief was a professional singer before enlisting in the Air Force decades ago. It was an honor for everyone present to blend together the voices of these two “horizons” of the Space Force. Thank you to Chief Towberman for becoming a mentor to these future leaders and public servants of the nation. As the class ended the Cadet Guardians asked the Chief to join them in another historic moment, the first “delta wing” formation in #SFJROTC. This unique formation is the sole domain of all Guardians. It showcases the unique mission and evolving separate culture of the nation’s newest service. All ten SFJROTC units are managed by Air Force Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (AFJROTC) with the support of U.S. Space Force, Space Training and Readiness Command, Space Delta 13, Detachment 2. #SemperSupra
