Field Artillery Officer in the US Army

With just one month left until graduation at West Point, I am filled with a profound sense of reflection and anticipation. After retiring from my role as a Competitive and Division 1 Soccer Player last Fall, my journey has taken a new direction. The Game taught me discipline, teamwork, emotional intelligence, and resilience; values that I am now fully committing to my upcoming role as a Field Artillery Officer. As I transition from striving to be the best player and cadet I can be, to aiming to become the best officer I can be, I'm grateful for the new paths that are unfolding before me. I owe immense gratitude to West Point for shaping my character and honing my leadership skills in unimaginable ways. To my mentors, teammates, and family: your unwavering support and guidance have been pivotal in my tremendous growth. Each lesson and experience shared with you has been a building block for my future. I'm also excited to announce my involvement with the AKP Sports Foundation, an opportunity to give back and support others in their sports and leadership journeys. This new chapter is all about lifting others - from underprivileged communities to upcoming Korean-American Athletes. As I count down the days to graduation, I am thankful for every moment spent at West Point and for all the memories made. Here’s to future challenges and continued growth for myself and my classmates. 30 and a butt.
