We had an incredible discussion at our Latina Equal Pay Day Panel, where leaders from various industries came together to address the wage gap impacting Latinas. The panel explored critical issues such as pay equity, career advancement, and representation in leadership. Key takeaways from the event included: 💼 The Wage Gap Reality: Our panelists highlighted that Latinas still earn only 57 cents for every dollar earned by non-Hispanic white men. They shared personal stories of navigating pay inequity and strategies for self-advocacy. 🎓 Career Advancement: Speakers emphasized the importance of mentorship, professional development, and negotiating for fair pay. Attendees were encouraged to actively seek opportunities for growth and to support each other in the journey. 🤝 Corporate Responsibility:Panelists urged employers to be more transparent in their compensation practices and to create pathways for Latinas to thrive in leadership roles. It was a powerful evening filled with insights, actionable advice, and a call to action for everyone to work towards wage equality. A huge thank you to our panelists, attendees, and partners for making this event a success! Together, we will continue pushing for progress and creating a future where Latinas are paid what they deserve. Let’s keep the momentum going! #LatinaEqualPayDay #EqualPayForAll #LatinaLeadership #PayEquity
